Founded in March of 1970, Northside Animal Hospital combines the open and friendly attitude of small town Georgia with the sophistication of a modern veterinary hospital.

Valdosta is our home and we consider the people of Lowndes County to be not just our neighbors, but our friends as well. It is our pleasure and an honor to provide the people and pets of this rare slice of Georgia with the best that veterinary care has to offer in a safe and welcoming environment.

We are all pet owners ourselves and intimately understand that your pet is a special member of your family and that his or her health is important to you. This is why we provide and promote preventative care such as regular wellness checkups, appropriate vaccinations, dental care, behavioral and nutritional counseling, and more.

Despite the best preventative care, even the healthiest pets will experience periodic illness or an accident. This is where Northside Animal Hospital really excels. The skill and expertise of our doctors is enhanced by advanced diagnostic imaging equipment, in-house medical testing capabilities, a modern surgical suite, and a wide range of internal medicine expertise and resources. We also understand that illness and injuries rarely happen during business hours. This is why our veterinary staff is on call seven days a week, 24 hours per day for emergency care.
